PHILOSOPHY:

I treat people the way I want to be treated, and the way I want my family treated-with honesty, respect and in a highly ethical manner.  I strive to glorify God in all I say and do.  Money is not my motivator, helping people is. I am first and foremost service-driven; I believe that all clients deserve excellence in their insurance purchasing experience and should be given an explanation and choice in a professional manner in their coverage options.  Now that’s value!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 26 years experience in serving insurance clients and representing multiple independent insurance companies;
• I hold the ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative), CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative), CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent),  and NAIW (National Association of Insurance Women) Professional Designations, and am currently pursuing the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor);
• I was CISR of the Year (1997) for the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Virginia and D.C. and was a Top 5 National Finalist in Customer Service;
• Am member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of VA/DC, and am actively serving on the Annual PIA Convention Committee;
• Thomas Nelson Community College and Rappahannock Community College;
• Serve on boards and committees of several civic and charitable groups including New Kent Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Peninsula Referral Network; member of the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Business Women;
• Formed and chaired the IEP Pro Parents, a support group for special needs children
• Co-formed and chair The F.O.R.C.E. (Female Organization of Rural Community Entrepreneurs), a mentoring, educational, training, support and networking group of women professionals in the New Kent and surrounding Counties
